Mike Mackenzie began his radio career back in 1988 at the age of 12. His first love was always production.
Mike spent hours listening to, and imitating voice over greats like Ernie Anderson, Don LaFontaine, Mitch Craig,
Bill Ratnor and many others. He practiced for hours and quickly learned and mastered the art of "voice over" production.
At age 19, Mike was hired as the Production and Imaging Director for Cumulus Media in Harrisburg, PA. Because of his incredible talents at such a young age, he earned the nickname "Doogie". The young wiz kid of radio production.
Mike produced some of the top production in the market, winning several awards over the years and was in such high demand by the stations new clients, that in 2001, he launched his own production company to meet all of the demand.
Mike loves spending time listening to radio and production from all over the world, keeping him on top of the latest production and imaging trends.
In what spare time he has, you can probably find Mike bowling, golfing or entertaining his friends who come visit him in Las Vegas where he has lived since 2007.
Since the day he started in the production business as a little kid (literally), Mike has always loved creating amazing compelling radio commercials, dynamic audio production and heart pounding station imaging. It's what he does best...because it's what he loves most.
